Osamu Noma, PresidentOsamu Noma, President

We aim to unlock greater growth together with our stakeholders as a fine chemical company that speeds up the evolution of industries.

Osamu Noma,
President

Since our founding in 1928, Sugai Chemical has built up our own proprietary organic synthesis and production technologies through a great deal of trial, error and progress for close to a century. Today, we have established “one product, one customer” model of contract manufacturing to satisfy requirements of our customers. This enables us to supply a broad range of products to customers around the world, such as intermediates for pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and functional materials, along with surfactants. In recent years, we are focusing also on the development of our original products in response to more sophisticated and diverse market need.
Moreover, we are dedicating more attention to sustainability initiatives to ensure that that we continue to evolve and grow in a sustainable manner. While circumstances surrounding us change by the minute, we are committed to being a company that brings value to society by understanding and addressing social issues such as digital transformation and climate change.
We will fulfill our corporate social responsibilities and achieve our mission of becoming more than just a manufacturer of intermediates, transitioning into a fine chemical company that speeds up the evolution of various industries.
I would like to personally thank our stakeholders for your continued support as we move forward.
